Governance
Darul Arqam School is a unique collaboration effort between Darul Arqam founding community, the Muslim Center of Middlesex County MCMC, and the Islamic Society of Monmouth County ISMC (Alaman) to offer the best possible academic and Islamic education, elementary to high-school, to the Muslim community of Central Jersey.
Essam Elsherif – Chairman of the BoT
Br. Essam Elsherif has been associated with the school since inception. Currently, he is a BoT member of the Muslim American Society of NJ, and active member of MAS Youth. Br. Essam is a Technology Manger by profession.
Mohammed Abdelrahman – Treasurer
Br. Mohammed Abdelrahman is one of the founders of Darul Arqam School. He has been actively contributing to the Muslim community in central Jersey for the past 20 years. Br. Mohamed Abdelrahman is a businessman as well.
Dr. Hassan Elmansoury – Member
Dr. Hassan Elamnsoury is a long time member of the NJ Muslim community where he helped establishing number of Islamic Centers including the Islamic Society of Monmouth County where he has was a President for a number of years. Dr. Hassan is a MD.
Mohammed A. Ali – Member
Br. Mohammed Ali is a member of Majlis Assura at the Muslim Center of
Middlesex County where is in charge of the center’s financial
management. Br. Mohammed is a business partner of a Software
development firm in New Jersey.
Kazi Zakaria – Member
Br. Zakaria is one of the founders of Muslim Center of Middlesex County (MCMC). He is an active member of the community for over thirty years. Br. Zakaria is currently working with the Board of Education in New York City.
Dr. Khalil Memon - Member
Dr. Memon is is a member of Majlis Assura at the Muslim Center of Middlesex County where he is an active member of the community. Dr. Memon is a MD.
Yasser Helal – Member
Br. Yasser Hilal is one of the founders of Darul Arqam School. He is also a member of the BoT of Anoor School in New York. Br. Yasser has a law office in New York where he works on Civil Rights and immigration cases.
