ADMISSIONS PROCESS

MISSION

Our mission is to provide an excellent Islamic and academic education within an Islamic environment to produce well-rounded Muslims and strong leaders. We seek to promote a safe, caring, and supportive environment where our children can attain the knowledge that would enable them to perform as effective citizens of the world, especially in today’s world of Globalization. Our students will be attaining such worldly knowledge in a spiritual environment rich with Islamic teachings, values, and practices. We strive to have our parents, teachers, and community members actively involved in our students' learning.

Non-Discrimination Policy

We seek diversity in our staff and student body. In the admission and employment policies and practices, in scholarship aid programs, and in all our educational programs, Darul Arqam School does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, color, religion, or ethnic origin. As a policy, we cannot guarantee admission to any applicant regardless of affiliation with the school.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Students applying for...

    • Pre-School​ must meet minimum age of 3 years old on or before Nov. 30 and be potty trained

    • Pre-K must meet minimum age of 4 years old on or before Nov. 30 and be potty trained

    • Kindergarten must meet minimum age of 5 years old on or before Nov. 30
      If your child does not meet the state's cut-off date of Oct. 1, your child may not be eligible to receive certain accommodations and benefits offered through State and Federal programs. Each township has its own regulations.

  • We do NOT accept new students into 12th grade

  • No one will be accepted into 9th-11th grades after Oct. 10

INQUIRE & VISIT

Visit our school on open house to tour our campus, gain insight into the core curriculum, meet some of our talented staff, and learn more about the programs and opportunities Darul Arqam has to offer.

Other Dates (10:30 AM - 12:30 PM): 3/16, 3/30, 5/25, 6/8, 6/22

STEP 1
APPLY

Submit your application with the following:
 

  • Completed Admission Application (signed by parent or legal guardian)

  • $150 non-refundable registration fee

  • Child's original birth certificate (we'll make a copy)

  • Copy of child's immunization record/card

  • Copy of child's most recent report card & state testing results (if applicable)

STEP 2
INTERVIEW

You will receive a call/email from the administration office to schedule the placement test and interview.

You must pass the entrance exam with an average of 70% in each English & Math and attend an interview conducted by the Principal or Vice Principal.

​

You will receive an official email and/or call regarding acceptance status.

STEP 3
Additional Forms

Upon notification of acceptance, the required additional forms must be completed, signed (by a parent/legal guardian), and submitted to the main office within 2 weeks.
